Archon tattoo on his neck. He can only use dark and unaspected aether safely at this time.  BACKGROUND.  A doctor born of the noble De’Fleur family of Old Sharlayan. Like his father, Arazul excelled in medical practice and alchemy. He spent countless hours in research despite his true love for the fine arts and antiques. In Sharlayan, Arazul was known as the ‘popular guy’ and the president over the Studium council to ensure rules and regulations were followed. An eligible bachelor and first son of his family, he was well admired and sought out by his peers for his dedication to his studies. His parents placed him in as a figure of high society, meant for grand success. At night, he took part in a secret activity 'Night Dueling' where students would duel with real weapons in hostile terrain.After a serious accident involving the Night Dueling and becoming an archon in alchemy, the young doctor set off on a trip with a group of researchers to Thavnair at his father’s behest to learn of rare alchemical ingredients there. Their boat was captured by Garlean forces, and he forced to aid in the progression of chemical warfare and experiments. Despite his circumstances, the good doctor aided those around him in similarly dire situations, from aiding soldiers with near fatal wounds and providing medicine.Unfortunately, a seemingly accidental dose of Black Rose was unleashed in one of the experimental facilities nearby. The doctor’s warning arrives far too late, inhaling some of the toxic chemical himself. Found by Seiro washed up on the shores of Yanxia, Arazul was in a coma for three months, barely surviving with his memory left fragmented and physically altered. Additionally, he develops a living shadow created from a manifestation of his anger and vengeful desires. Will he ever find a way to cure himself completely?

  NOTABLE FEATURES.   Many scars, the bright red limbal ring is a genetic trait of the Malkavi tribe, typically wears a lot of chains or trinkets on his tail and horns.  BACKGROUND.   Seiro was born of a Dotharl mother and Malkavi father. His father Qntl was the last of the Malkavi, a small shamanic tribe that could commune with the spirits. Fortunately, voidsent often preyed upon them and used their body as hosts to enter the world causing their numbers to dwindle in time. After his parents died of old age, Qntl set out looking for a new tribe to settle in. He was protected by his ancestor, Xil, who had been consumed by void corruption but retained their former memories and sense of self. He met Irogene Dotharl whom rescued him from a pack of beasts, being invited into their home. Qntl eventually became her partner alongside her husband, Nergai who had no complaints to the arrangement.Seiro was born between them being the youngest of the seven children. This placed him at odds with his older siblings in his yearning to become as strong. Irogene brought him along to assist on hunting trips and taught him to fight in hand-to-hand combat. After coming of age, Seiro becomes a skilled hunter and finds thrill in seeking ever stronger monsters to fight. Yet, he soon finds himself in disagreement with the ways of the Dotharl. He has no desire to seek war solely for the sake of fighting and needless bloodshed between tribes in a way that felt dishonorable to him. When his lover from the Mol tribe dies in such a skirmish, the heartbroken au'ra decides to leave his homeland to become an adventurer. He could no longer resist the call he'd previously tried to ignore "Hear, feel, think." Qntl and the family sends him off tearfully, asking Xil to watch over him.

Archon tattoo on the back of his neck.  BACKGROUND.  Bellamy Devrau was a researcher of magitek that returned after a period in Garlemald with the newborn Gabriel. Never having been one of riches nor nobility, he turned his attentions to working as a gleaner instead to support the new child the best he could. Gabriel never knew what became of his mother and his father refused to speak of her. When he was older, Gabriel attended classes at the Studium with his father’s desire for him to become a Sage due to his growing interest in machinery. He never fit in with the crowd with his tendency to skip class to work on magitek and not caring at all for the stick in the mud upper class. This especially went with Arazul that he both admired and envied even if he would never admit it. Gabriel soon fell in with a gang called The Dreamers formed by a mysterious benefactor named Ange.Together, they began the secret but dangerous activity known as ‘Night Dueling’. Gabriel was known as ‘Azure’ and actively won many of his matches, but soon found himself up face to face against Arazul. He had a chance to win against him, but the victory would result in the other's death at the edge of a cliff. Gabriel fell instead, surviving but was no longer able to use his arms properly from nerve damage even after healing. With his father’s help, Gabriel was able to create a pair of functional magitek arms out of the remnants of a material he had been hiding all those years he called 'electrope'. The benefactor came to offer his aid to ensure his survival through the procedure by his own means. It was a painful transition to a vampire by Ange's hands, yet it enabled him to survive the surgery. This all came at a price to help Ange in his plans, who now finds himself at odds with the newly born rebellious vampire.

Also, temperamental, rude, battle hardened, weak to temptations.  BACKGROUND.  Dhampir Viera priest from Ishgard. In his wanderings, the voidsentian vampire Ange came across a dying pregnant viera in the Brume one night and gave her some of his blood in a moment of compassion he comes to regret. The mother dies and Amaranth is born, taken to be raised at an orphanage. An old Doman priest named Kyohei who had been hunting Ange witnessed the event. He took Amaranth under his wing to train, trying to help him not succumb to vampire instincts.The viera hones his skills with the priest daily until he was around seventeen that he found his body drained of blood left out in the cold on the outside edges of the city. Amaranth enters priesthood a few years later, studying and aiding others during the day while hunting creatures of the dark at night. One of his strengths is his strong connection to spirits and ability to see/talk to them clearly both hostile and calm. Naturally, he struggles immensely with less than priestly thoughts daily and can only hope his strong will/prayer will overcome this. He wishes to defeat Ange and commit himself fully to priesthood one day.

He was said to have lent his support to one of his lovers, Venat, during the final days. After the sundering, Charon became an entity locked in a cycle of endless reincarnation. There have been many so far including Scylla of Syrcus tower. With the hopes to reunite their younger brother one day, Charon's will persists on.The current incarnation of Charon is now a sorceress from the Churning Mists who wields a powerful command over the elements and plant life. A proud heretic - she serves as a protector to the moogles of Moghome. Cerys is seen as being merciless to her enemies and a trickster to many. Unwelcomed in Ishgard, she is the last of the long line of the La’sorciere family whom have made the mists their home for many years. She often journeys out to learn about the Eorzeans, but this often leads to misunderstandings with how little experience she has outside of her homeland. He tends to disappear for a length of time for their rituals and reappears when you least expect. The duskwight has difficulty creating new vampires that aren’t hostile with an insatiable bloodlust that he calls ‘ferals’ and bad luck follows in his wake like a plaque. Aside that, Ange is mischievous, eccentric and has a flair for dramatics. He prefers to have ‘fun’ and live in the moment as if to escape bitter memories of the past. He typically doesn't focus on any issues unless they interfere with his own ambitions. Ange likes to keep out of the limelight and leave his underlings to do all the work, but if you happen to meet him, he’ll be sure to leave an impression.--Those of strong body and mind are more likely to successfully turn into vampires by Ange’s hand. Ange keeps most of his failed corrupted childe in an underground dungeon because hasn't the heart to kill them. To feed them, he typically tosses in enemies or any that betray him.
